Les projets Cassia/Cassia Projects establishes and facilitates interdisciplinary and intercultural artistic exchanges through collaboration, education, and performance. Cassia is a cross-border arts initiative started in 2011 by Peter Balov and Anna Vigeland, a Bulgarian and an American both living in Montreal, Canada.  


Since its founding, Cassia has led varied projects, including:

  • If dusk tangled with dawn  - Athens, Greece (2012)
Collaborative performance developed and presented with Greek artists at Kinitiras Studio.



  • Circus arts and physical theatre workshop for local artists combined with research residency  together with Azul Teatro- Vilnius, Lithuania (2012) 



  • Workshop for local students combined with research residency at Antitesi Circo Teatro, Pondera & Pisa, Italy (2013)
